Just had mine replaced at 59K .... it's a consumable, so I'm of the camp to replace both the belt and tensioner every 30k needed or not. Twice in 35k seems excessive?
For the original awnings made outside of Asia I can understand the premium price points after MAP pricing is established. It's the brands that have since sent them to Asia and are still selling at the premium prices that I have a hard time with.
Nothing wrong with DIY
I heard recently that the real test of reliability is cost of ownership between 100k - 200k miles. (any new vehicle should make the 100k mark) Unfortunately Jeep has a reputation of being one of the most capable, but hardly makes the conversation of mileage/reliability between those two marks...
For what it's worth I went with the Med OME springs in the back ... it was ok with just my LEER cap, but after adding in a Decked drawer system I wish I had the HD's
Are these people legally camped? ... or are they not? ... We don't actually know due to the lack of factual information as seems to be the norm in all of these postings. I'm sure there are some abuses being committed, but most of this seems more like politically charged rhetoric.
