I generally take a rifle when I go overlanding. Mostly for fun plinking and what not if I find an area, but also for protection. I also have my CCW on me when I go as well.

Every part of the arb bumper had to be replaced. Got a whole new one. Interestingly the repair shop scratched the middle uprights for the tube around the winch, so they line-x’d them for me. If in the Rockies, am thinking of going to gunnison national forest area. Would like to see the black canyon of the gunnison.

Was going to Moab next week. Friends I was going with cancelled and am seeing if anyone is interested in a five day circuit of the area or the Rocky Mountain area here in Colorado. Know it’s a last minute deal but was curious if anybody was interested between next Tuesday-Saturday.

oh a bit of an update...not an addition, got in a bit of an accident a little time ago. If i didn't have this bumper, it would have been a total loss i suspect. As it were, the bumper took the brunt of the hit and got away with a new one and a little bit of body work. Got it back and in working...

Was thinking about the medicine bow-routt natl forest area going in on the Colorado side and exploring up into Wyoming as a possibility. Also looking into White River natl forest as well.

I could...I have to double check some things first, but I could create a rally point for a mid july run. Would have to do some research too to find out where folks are interested in going.
