    Winter Ground Tent

I'm planning on upgrading our tent for 4 season weather myself. My plan is a Sibley Bell tent since we're big fans of lots of walk around room and quick set up. I had planned on a woodburner but have been looking at the Webasto diesel fired heaters lately. Chicom knockoffs on Ebay for 2-300. The...

    Trip Planning Help

Tons of places you can go with a 2wd. A locker would certainly help but its not so much the lack of 4wd as it is the lack of low range that will kill you on tougher tracks. Still, there's really not many trails in the Midwest that you couldn't do.

    Long Island,NY trail

This is fantastic, my 9 yr old daughter has been absolutely hounding me to take a trip to NYC. I was planning on surprising her next year but thus far the extent of my planning has been looking at taking the Cross Sound Ferry onto the Island from Connecticut, renting a place an hour or so from...

    Montana Off-Road Trails

Was in the planning phase of a trip to Montana this summer but that has been changed. Look up PastorJohnMontana on YouTube. He has several good videos of trails in Montana. Montana has several retired Forest Service Fire Lookout Towers that can be rented very cheaply and will make for a...

    raising them right

Big supporter of child labor. They come in handy for checking water crossings. The kids have a blast exploring and I really believe that the things they learn will serve them in good stead throughout their lives.

Outfitting and Piecing together a '78 Dodge W200

Love the old Dodge trucks. Currently have 2. A 73 W100 with 360/NP435/NP205 I've been working on. Also a 78 W200 Crewcab that was a military truck then Fire Department. A lot of these old Dodges have issues with the wiring so bypassing the ammeter is the first thing I do. The wiring on the fire...

Pipeline is your best bet for offroading in WI. Not my video but gives a pretty good idea of the terrain. Lots of soft sand and mud, rocky hill climb and afew off camber areas. I used the directions here to find it. http://www.myxj.net/blog/the-pipeline/ I've found afew other fun trails in...

Hope everyone made it home safely. It was nice meeting you all. Lessons learned. Make future meet and greets earlier in the day. Nice job on everyones part on quickly changing venues because my dumb ass didn't account for Valentine's Day. I think earlier in the day wouldn't be as loud as well...
