I’m sure your Xterra would be fine. All the trails that I’ve been on in that area have been forest service roads. I don’t think I’ve ever had to put my vehicle in 4wd unless it was raining and a little slick.
I have a ZJ with 5.9 it requires high octane. I’m using a superchips programmer which allows me to run 87 octane just fine. I’ve been using it for several years no issues.
