I'm thinking of doing Mojave Road on my own tomorrow morning. How hard is that?

I had mine out in the 4runner on a trail with mud and hard pack snow. They did well. Just went slow and stayed off the brakes.

Where are we meeting at the trailhead?

Backcountry Adventures Northern Cal has the Burma Grade Trail around there. It's rated a 3 which is pretty easy for a 4wd. I'm going to check that out if nothing else hapoens.

I'm planning to camp at McCabe Flat tonight. I've got a metallic tan gen3 4runner. Probably pull in around 9.

Any recs on a portable dual fuel generators with at least 2000 watts stable load? I'm sure the Honda is great, but what about the lower price options? Anyone have one they like?

Tire shopping now for my Gen3 T4R. Any opinions on whether to go for 4 or 5 tire rotation? Determining factor for me would probably be money saved with a fifth new tire over the tire life. I'm not concerned about getting a flat in Gautemala and having to run a different spare, for example.
