I love traveling, camping and exploring new places. I share this passion with my son (14y) and I am grateful for his company on our trips. Four years ago we started out with a Mercedes c180 and did a tour around Europe as he wanted to see Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, and Rom still relying on hostles and Airbnb. We discovered using a roof top tent gives us more freedom but finding places to stay overnight were sometimes a challenge when the terrain got rougher. That´s where the idea of an 4x4 overlander was born. On our first ride with the Toyota in Oct 2019 we still used the roof top tent and had a beautiful trip along the Croatian reviera and got as far as Dubrovnik. Now our Toyota and our way of traveling has been taken to the next level and we don´t need the roof top tent any longer. Now we sleep on a platform in the back much similiar to Corey and Michael´s Landcruiser but not yet as sophisticated.
