Question for clarification. On the correct one you ordered does it have a special mounting bracket for the rack? I currently run the Barricade/ Smittybilt roof rack and wanted to attach to that as opposed to drilling holes in the jeep.

what did you have the custom cross bars made for, ie carrying the rtt? I am thinking of having one made for my roof rack which is similar to yours so I can mount the rtt a tad further back and have a small basket up front.

You will be fine with the stock gearing. I currently run a 2010 JEEP JKU Sport with 2.5 AEV Lift and 35" General GT tires, 373 gears. I am able to do highway speeds and use it as a daily driver. Its slow and gets terrible gas mileage, but I did not buy it to drive fast nor did I care about MPG.

Thanks for the picture and response. Had I not gotten my rack for free I would have preferred the gobi. If you look at my rack there is no floor and really no way of adding a floor as it already sits so high. My thought was to move it to the back with a small 2' basket that I can put some jerry...

I have a similar build with the same rack. I am wanting to add a rtt but also want a basket in front of the tent but behind the lights. Do you think one would fit? I am guessing I would need to mod up another cross bar.
