There are many spots along 105 to camp. Some with just epic views.

After we saw the falls we took 183 to 181 to get to Table Rock. Through Jonas Ridge we got fuel at Mountain Crossing. Neat little store.

Grandfather Ranger District is showing FSR 106 is closed for the seasonal closure. If I did NC-Troopers’s coordinates correct, I believe that group spot is at the end of 106.

My son and I have not done the Old N.C. 105 mentioned previously. We are going to give it a go after the meet up.
