A little late on a reply, but check out user.ramblr.com/nwoverlandquest. There's a sweet spot on the backside of Hole-in-the-Ground on our Oregon Outback route. We did that and Crack-in-the-Ground one day, then Crater Lake the next. Let me know if you have any questions @nwoverlandquest

Oh, and Santiam Wagon Road is my personal favorite. It's part in the McKenzie River Ranger District of the Willamette NF.

We are doing a trail cleanup at Shotgun Creek OHV near Springfield, OR. There is a lot of trash and shooting debris up there. It is our goal to begin a cleanup effort to help advocate for new Class II trails and site improvements. View Rally Point Details

We'll meet at the Peter Iredale shipwreck and spend the morning on the longest drivable beach in Oregon, from Warrenton to Gearhart. The drive is rated easy, so it's great for beginners. We'll head down to Sand Lake and play on the dunes in the afternoon. View Rally Point Details

A little late to the party, but I actually grew up on the McKenzie. I could see the river from my house. Not a fisherman, but I love driving around that area.

Morning I bought the truck in Eugene. First day of snow in what turned out to be the worst winter in years. Had to put it into 4-hi to make it home through the snow and freezing rain.
