Yes, I thought that too, but I'm not about to spend again, as Flexopower pulled up their 30 day money back return policy and basically said "tough luck buddy".

I use Locus Pro and really like it. I don't use the Locus maps but download maps from the BackRoad Map Books of BC and open them in Locus. Other friends use it as well, and others use Gaia. Guess it's all what you started with I'm sure.
Based on their customer service and their faulty LED's I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!! What's with admitting there's a fault? The trick I've found is to recharge the pack from my 110/120 inverter. DO I trust the 444?? Nope...
I did that and they didn't seem to care. "We have offered resolution pursuant to our policies and we are happy to assist you per those policies.
