Rally Point Notes:
Meet at the Dollar Tree in McMinnville at 10 AM. There is a Shari's in the same parking lot and a Chevron nearby for gas.
We'll head out past McGuire Reservoir before driving into the Tillamook State Forest. We'll exit at Hwy 101 near Sand Lake Rec Area to go play on the dunes. We will split into two groups at the dunes based on experience level and rig capabilities.
A list of required and suggested items can be found below. The NWOQ team will assist novice off-road drivers and stock vehicles throughout the trip by sharing our gear and teaching you how to drive in different situations that we encounter.

-Spare Tire & Jack
-Toilet Paper. Everyone seems to forget TP, until they need it...
Must Have for Dunes:
-Oregon ATV Permit store.oregonstateparks.org
-First Aid Kit
-Extra Fluids (oil, coolant, etc)
-HAM, CB, or FRS Radio
-Maps and/or GPS

You can eat breakfast on your own or at the meet-up location. We'll stop for lunch somewhere along the trail or at the dunes parking lot. We can either bring stuff to eat dinner out on the dunes or head down to Pelican Brewery in Pacific City.
NorthWest Overland Quest is a team of overlanders. NWOQ takes novice off-road drivers with stock vehicles on day trips to build up their skills for longer overland adventures. We are focused on educating our community and hosting family-friendly trips in the outdoors.
