Rally Point Notes:

"The Plan of Attack"

We'll head East on Route 66 until we reach Williams AZ, where we will then head North towards the Grand Canyon and on into Utah until we reach Hell's Backbone, with the convoy regrouping at Hell's Backbone Grill & Farm - (http://hellsbackbonegrill.com/ )...the next day our journey will continue through Moab, on into Silverton CO, where the 2nd night will be spent at a mountain campsite TBD. Leadville is the final destination, however we will have a couple of day's before the Land Rover Rally begins so we could spend a little time exploring the mountain trails around Silverton and Ouray.

The expected duration of the journey is planned to take 3-4 day's, yet since this will be the inaugural overlanding ride in my new-to-me Disco II, I'm not too concerned about rushing the trip...these are thing's which are fluid and adaptable to the Member's who are traveling with the group.

Question's, concern's, comment's, suggestion's, and/or anything else which may have not been mentioned or addressed in the aforementioned rambling of mine...please feel free to share your thought's.

Here is a link to the google map route, which does not include any trail rides, only the primary route from "A" to "B".

All is well which ends with a smile :)
