Long Canyon Trail Spring maintenance and clean up, El Dorado National Forest
At this time we have 10 members going so we are opening it up to an additional 10 from the Overland Bound Community.

Here are some of the details for the Long Canyon Trail Maintenance in the El Dorado National Forest.
DATE; June 2 & 3, 2018
Work on the trail all day Saturday then camp overnight at two of the dispersed campsites along the creek. Pot luck dinner and hopefully a campfire. Sunday, clean the campsite then finish whatever is need on the trail. The object is to be done Sunday around 1200 hrs.
COMMS WILL BE HAM/GMRS;
All comms will be handled on Ham trail 146.46. A GMRS frequency will be assigned and monitored for relay. If a rig does not have either radio they will be put with a group that is equipped. Due to terrain a ham operator will be with each group. (no CB radios please). Some spare GMRS radios will be available.
0900 hrs: Meet up at the trail head. GPS coordinates will be provided.
0930 hrs: Briefing and group assignments given.
0945-1200 hrs: Clean assigned area.
1200-1300 approximately: Lunch, each participant will provide their own lunch.
1300-1600: Work on trail and remove any debris to the camp site.
1600-? Pot luck dinner and beverages.
Pot luck breakfast.
Depending on how much work got done on Saturday assignments will be given.
The goal is to be at the top of the trail around 1200 hrs for a debrief.
