Black Hills Overland - 1st Meet & Greet
Dunn Brothers Coffee
405 Canal St Suite 1500
Rapid City, South Dakota 57701
---
The best way to get to Dunn Brothers is to turn onto Cross Street, from either Omaha St or West Main St.
There is ample parking out front and it's the only parking lot available anyway.
---
The layout of the shop is pretty simple, just walk past the counter and we'll be at a "community table" in their back room, or circled up in the parking lot depending on weather and turn out.
Dunn Brothers Coffee is a local coffeeshop that roasts their own beans. Small food items are available but it's mostly just beverage products.
---
1-3pm Meet & Greet in the coffee shop.
3-7pm Trail Run.
The road we drive will most likely be on is the Piedmont Fire Trail #8144
Although depending on weather conditions and participant needs, we may discuss another route prior to take off.
---
The first monthly meet & greet for Black Hills Overland!
We'll chat about some of the basic stuff (expected practices while off the highways, local forest service info, maps & navigation, basic recovery gear & tips, recommendations for safety essentials, etc).
Most of all we're looking to build the community so no one has to venture out alone!
