Rally Point Notes:

Just because it's April.
I've scheduled a trip to Assateague Island (Berlin, MD) for April 21 and 22. This is simply a chance to get off-grid and chill around a campfire. The island is 28 KM of oversand driving and I'll be about 10 KM down. You'll need an OSV pass and basic recovery equipment for sand to legally drive on the beach. Come and go as you please. Once off sand you are 20 minutes from Ocean City, 15 minutes from Berlin old town, 5 minutes from two local small stores. Check-in at the Ranger Station for late announcements too. Several campgrounds in the area to choose from if you need a place for the overnight. As always, tread lightly and respect all local ordinances. The OB basecamp flag will be hoisted as a beacon! CB channel 4. I hope to see you there! Oh yea, bring some firewood with you. :)

4 spots at my campsite remain. Msg me if you want to use a spot.

OSV information can be obtained from NPS here: https://www.nps.gov/asis/planyourvisit/osv.htm
